Due to a technical issue of version upgrade, Zoom has suspended on premises service of learn.zoom.us. from yesterday.
Now
when we start the meetings, they are hosted on Zoom Cloud. (you can
find out this when you click the green button on the meeting). Hence,
data charges are applied for zoom meetings until this issue is resolved.
If
a staff member or student is using a working from package, data charges could
be minimized. I have asked all lectures to upload their teaching sessions to ugVLE site after the session since some of you may find difficult to join online sessions. Hence, you could download those videos free of charge.
Will update you, as soon as possible this matter is resolved. Hope this will be resolved within next 48 hours.
